Password Protect

I have abandoned this blog for a couple of reasons...first, I feel like I can only write about the good. There is so much more to a family than showing off pictures of Disney World. There are the daily struggles and with an older child adoption, there are many more issues that are thrown into the mix. Second, I am afraid of being judged. I know I give the speech to my kids daily about not caring what others think and making your own choices BUT when the choice I make is to spill about our lives and the eyes that read can hold it against you or your family, then it isn't good!

So, I think I am going to make this blog invitation only. I think to this point it has served its purpose of giving our account of international adoption and it's process. Maybe the issues we deal with on a daily basis are normal for every family but I grew up with a sister 8 years younger than myself so I was essentially an only child. I don't know what is normal. I would like to put a little more honesty out there and get some feedback.

So next week I am closing the blog to the public. If there is anyone out there who ever checks our blog and is interested in delving deeper into internationally adopted families and everyday issues of raising our kids then let me know and I will send you an invitation.
